Abstract: First experiments in the control of quantum systems have been carried out during the last decade, so that taking into account perturbations introduced by technical devices becomes now major issue. This Minisymposium aims at fostering development and application of models and algorithms to take into account uncertainty in the control process.
From the mathematical point of view, that pose new challenges in the theory of dynamical systems and in the modelling of perturbation. During the minisymposium the speakers will address these topics and discuss fast computational strategies that include model reduction, statistical methods and fast numerical integration of evolution equations.
